My son is a wonderful, bright, energetic little boy who loves to explore and discover new things. I love him dearly, but can never manage to keep up with him, especially when he is being particularly curious and active. I am very thankful to be a part time teacher and a full time Mom. When I am away I know that my son is in excellent hands because his grandma is watching him and nurturing him when we are away.

I came home from work the other day to discover this note on the door of my mom's house. She was telling me to open the door in "stealth mode" (aka be quiet when I came in) because Matt was taking a nap, FINALLY. This pretty much sums up how all of us (Mom, Dad, and Grandma) feel and look at the end of the day. Notice how Matt's picture looks so angelic. If I could bottle my little boy's energy and sell it, we would be rich within a few days.

Chapter 1: The Beginning
